Identified! AUSTRALIA - Human bones found in a bag, Brisbane, 10 Sept 2018 - Constance Watcho

Category: | The Courier Mail

ON NOVEMBER 27 Brisbane woman Constance Watcho accessed her bank account at a branch in Greenslopes. She hasn’t been seen since.

Today detectives launched their third appeal for information about her whereabouts.

They hold grave fears for the 36-year-old as her disappearance is out of character.

Adding to the mystery is the complete lack of sightings or any information about Ms Watcho who is well known in the West End and Kangaroo Point areas.

Detectives have not ruled out foul play but said there was no specific information pointing to anything suspicious.

More than three years after a woman's bones were found inside a duffel bag near a popular Brisbane picnic area, there are "still no answers" about her suspected murder, a Coroners Court has been told.

The inquest has been set down for five days in September and is expected to hear from more than a dozen witnesses including her partner, the man she had been staying with, and police officers.

Family of an Aboriginal mother whose remains were found at the bottom of a cliff are hoping an inquest will succeed where investigators failed and finally deliver closure.

There was a strong family presence in Brisbane Magistrates Court during an emotional opening to a five-day inquest to hear from more than 20 witnesses.

They won't be at peace until the those responsible are held accountable, coroner Stephanie Gallagher was told in a statement read to the court before proceedings began.
