"There are fears for two young Victorian sisters who vanished 24 hours ago.

Jazmin and Tianna Stevens, aged 12 and 13, were last seen on Station St in Melton at about 6pm Friday night.

Victoria Police said they hold concerns for the girls' welfare because they are both young."

Tianna was last seen wearing a navy blue jumper with a hood, dark leggings and black Nike runners.

Jazmin was last seen wearing a black and grey top, black leggings and white runners.

POLICE SEARCH FOR MISSING SISTERS

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Melton teens Jazmin and Tianna Stevens.

The two girls aged 12 and 13 years were last seen on Station Street in Melton about 6pm yesterday.

Police and family members hold concerns for their welfare due to their ages.

Tianna was last seen wearing a navy blue jumper with a hood, dark leggings and black Nike runners.

Jazmin was wearing black and grey top, black leggings with white runners.

Investigators believe the girls may make their way to the Ballarat area or the Melbourne CBD.

Anyone who sights the girls or has information on their whereabouts is urged to contact Melton Police Station on 9747 7999.
