Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a woman missing from Sydney’s east.

Irish National Katie Cash, aged 18, was last seen leaving a hospital on Barker Street, Randwick, just before 3pm on Friday 13 July 2018.

At the time she was last seen, Katie was 38-weeks pregnant and officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command hold grave concerns for her welfare.

Ms Cash may also go by another name.

Katie is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of thin build, with short dark hair, green/hazel eyes and a scar on the right side of her forehead. She was last seen wearing a grey top, grey and white floral pants and no shoes.

Anyone with information or knows Kate’s whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or Crime Stoppers NSW. Information is treated in strict confidence. The public is reminded not to report crime via NSW Police social media pages.

What strikes me is that it's police officers who hold concerns for her welfare. More often than not with these missing person reports, it's family and police. I think it's quite possible she's known to police (any number of reasons.)

It depends on what you consider "winter temperatures", on the day she went missing the min/max temperature in Sidney was 8/16 °C, while the summer temperature in Dublin, Ireland today is expected to be 12/21 °C. Not so much colder, and the June average in Dublin is 9/17 °C, so I don't think she thought it was too cold for bare feet.

Looking at the photo of Katie it looks like there's a shoe print on side of her head, possibly why the police are concerned for her safety.
