Son of woman charged with murdering partner with MND claims father wanted to overdose, court documents show

The son of a Queensland woman accused of murdering her terminally ill partner claims he confirmed with his father that he wanted to overdose, court documents show.

Kylie Truswell-Mobbs is charged with killing her partner, David Ronald Mobbs, 58, at their Alexandra Hills home in December 2023.

Mr Mobbs had an aggressive form of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and required full-time care after losing control of his muscles, speech, swallowing, and bowel and bladder movement.

Last month Ms Truswell-Mobbs was denied bail, with a judge noting the prosecution had a "substantial amount of evidence which would tend towards conviction"
