An Austrian tourist in Italy broke off three toes of a statue of Pauline Bonaparte Borghese in an Italian museum when he jumped up to pose for a photo beside the 19th century statue. I hope he has to pay for the renovation of the statue, there were most likely signs saying "don't touch the statues", but it seems that it was more important to get a photo for his album.

Such disrespect! Foolish dude. Who jumps on art? Well, unless you're the artist.

In The Louvre I guess it is The Venus Dimilo? Apparently there's a Simpson's episode where Bart appears to be grabbing her hind side? Well, sure enough my DD, Ex hubby who was an Ex then even, and my sibling all recreated this event. No touching. Not even close to the statue, but it gives the appearance you are.

Me? Know nothing about the statue or have watched The Simpson's. I wanted to know what was in the cafeteria.

Austrian man, pay up, and
apologize.

Big bucks? No.
He should spend 10 years in prison for what he did...
