A Surprise man was arrested in Phoenix on Thursday in connection with the sexual abuse and death of an 18-month-old girl, court records show. Austin Michael Eric Parker, 24, was arrested after paramedics found an 18-month-old child unresponsive, records detail. Parker called 911 when he found the child was not breathing. The child was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, records show. Investigators observed bruising that was in various stages of healing, marks consistent with fresh blunt-force trauma and signs of past sexual abuse, records show.

It looks like this guy has had access to little girls for years and I hope every one of them is questioned.

I hope the delay was due to a very thorough investigation that conclusively proved this guy was responsible... I understand he made a few "admissions" but I hope they are sure. The other girls appear to be relatives. Not sure on the victim. Definitely not typical of what we see.

Hello. I came across this website when I was looking up the case again. I am a family member of the little girl that was killed, and let me tell you, my family and I has been wondering the same. We were never told why it took so long, why it was handed down so many times, and what brought up the case all of a sudden. There are still so many unanswered questions that we have.

Hello. I am a family member of the girl that was killed. Yes, this monster was dating her mother. All of the news stories were saying that he was her dad, and that got that terribly wrong. This made us very upset, but we understand how word of mouth plays out in these situations.
