YCSO: Missing man’s car found, no signs of him

A missing man's car was found May 17 abandoned with a flat tire in Yavapai County but there were no signs of him, sheriff's deputies said.

Edward Cox, 69, of Las Vegas, was last seen driving on Forest Road 24, north of Cave Creek. Toward Forest Road 269 on May 11.

Circumstances of DisappearanceBuick Regal belonging to Edward Cox was reported to Yavapai County Sheriff's Office on May 17, 2015 on Bloody Basin Road approximately six miles west of the Verde River - near Sheep's Bridge. The front driver's side tire was flat and no one was around the car. There was no evidence of foul play or a distress based incident.
