Road rage suspect claims victim beat him before deadly Phoenix shooting

A road rage fight ended in a deadly shooting that killed a man and an eight-year-old girl in a south Phoenix shopping center, according to new court documents.

Court records showed that Tyrone Dee Chilly is facing two counts of first-degree premeditated murder as well as three counts of aggravated assault in the deaths of Quincy Polk, 30, and Envy Cardenas, 8. He also faces two counts of endangerment.

what the heck?? I would think there is possibly video if this happened in a shopping center parking area.

Based on his charges, I am guessing no video was found to support his claims of being beaten by the man and the woman and the woman pointing a gun at him?

Chilly has claimed that a "tan SUV" followed him, that its owner had punched him repeatedly in various parts of the body, and that he even received a kick to the head. But when Chilly was brought to the hospital it doesn't seem like they noticed any injuries aligning with this statement. IMHO, he's trying to excuse himself by claiming that he got jumped first. But if we assume that his sight was legitimately blurry, wouldn't he still be able to tell colors, therefore tan from white? AFAIK the sun should have been still up by the time of the shooting, so I doubt he could have been confused by street lights.

Yeah, his story sounds pretty fantastical start to finish MOO Betting he was irritated about having to go get more paperwork for the loan (maybe a title or payday variety) he was applying for. And maybe irritated he was having to take out a loan. And was looking for a conflict. JMO
