Two autistic teens go missing from a campground in Cottonwood
Search for missing/endangered teens underway in Cottonwood-
Just before noon today, YCSO deputies were dispatched to a campground near Forest Road 360 and Camino Real, east of Highway 260, Cottonwood, regarding 2 missing teens, age 17 and 18. They were last seen by family members at 11 AM today.
Cristian and Josiah are autistic – neither was carrying a cell phone. Both can swim and enjoy swimming.
Deputies and numerous search team members have been deployed in the area and are also canvassing businesses along Highway 260 with assistance of the Cottonwood Police Department. YCSO’s Rescue 1 Helicopter is conducting an air search.
