It usually means that from what I have seen over the last few years. Often if the missing person is having persona/mental health challenges and there has been a lot of social media postings about the situation, when the person is found the family just wants privacy for them to recover and quite often, there's not a public notification that the person was found. I totally understand that, give them time to renew and heal.
