My heart goes out to the family of the man who fell.
Let's consider he thought he was far enough away from the edge yet still slipped. Maybe it was more gravelly/ slippery or sloped than it appeared at first glance and the same accident happened previously.

So if this isn't GRG, it could be anyone passing through who stopped to enjoy the view. He or she could be a tourist... or a true victim who was put there. I hope it's not difficult to find the identity.

Witnesses told NPS that the man — identified as Orlando Serrano-Arzola — was taking pictures Sunday morning at Glen Canyon Dam Overlook.

He was on top of the rim overlooking the Colorado River when he fell around 100 feet down and then slid roughly 150 feet further, witnesses said.

"The victim suffered severe trauma and showed no signs of life after the fall," NPS said in its news release.

@JerseyGirl I believe we have a mistake here in changing this to identified. There are two victims. When they retrieved OS-A, they found the 2nd unidentified person (skeletal remains) nearby. I started this thread about the 2nd person, who is unidentified.

OH my bad! Ok, I edited the title back (I think) and moved this back over to Unidentified.

Let me know if I need to do anything further. Thanks!

I am trying to find an update on this case.
As far as articles, I only find some from October 2020, which is understandable.

But I also can't find this case listed in NamUs as an UID. Arizona seems good about listing cases, so it makes me wonder if they've already been identified over the past year(?)
