AZ AZ - Phoenix, 40th & Van Buren St, bones in lg water vault, Apr'19

The Phoenix Police Department is investigating remains that were found in a large water vault just north of a canal.

Police began investigating Tuesday afternoon and believe the remains found near 40th Street and Van Buren Road are human bones.

Police are working to figure out if the remains are male or female, and how long they have been there.

Police have not said if there is any information to lead to a possible suspect.

Anyone with any information related to this investigation is urged to call Phoenix police.

Several possibilities here... not to mention all of the homeless that go missing without anyone noticing. This is just about 12 blocks from where I am at the moment. I am going to drive by on my way home.
