Interesting. Is there a post-mortem photograph of the John Doe? I'd imagine there would be striking difference in the ID vs. the postmortem if that is the case.

On Namus it says "ID photo on counterfeit ID card - may or may not be the decedent

Great thought. Mapping the two locations on Google indicates this is 2 hours and 45 min away by car from where Daniel disappeared
