The woman who lured auto-glass entrepreneur Rick Chance to his death took the witness stand Thursday in Maricopa County Superior Court to testify against the man prosecutors believe shot the businessman and stole $1 million of his jewelry.

Brandi Lynn Hungerford has already pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and armed robbery in exchange for her testimony against Robert Lemke.

Lemke, 27, is charged with first-degree murder in Chance's death, and prosecutors are seeking the death penalty. Hungerford faces 10 to 22 years in prison.

A former stripper was sentenced to life in prison Friday afternoon after pleading guilty this month to gunning down Paradise Valley millionaire Rick Chance in 2002 during a robbery.

Robert Lemke originally pleaded not guilty to the charge, and a jury deadlocked in 2005 over the question of whether he shot Chance, although the jury convicted him of theft. He received 27 years in prison for stealing Chance’s watch.

On Sept. 5, Lemke avoided a second trial on the murder charge by accepting a plea agreement from the state, which offered him life in prison with the possibility of parole after 25 years...

Hungerford pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in Chance’s death and was sentenced to 14 years in prison on Sept. 20.
