Stephen Gibson was last seen at Banner - University Medical Center South on East Ajo Way on Aug. 17, said Sgt. Juan Zamora.

His family reported him missing on Saturday after Gibson missed his first day at a new job and other appointments, including a child visitation, Zamora said.

Gibson “may be affected by a medical condition that requires medication,” Zamora said. He is described as Caucasian, 5-feet-8-inches tall, weighing 200 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

He was contacted by Tucson police on West Valencia Road, according to Sahuarita police on Monday.

“It is unknown what initiated the contact,” according to a press release. Gibson was taken to a hospital for an evaluation and his family was notified of his location and status.

Gibson's family reported him missing after he missed his first day at a new job and other appointments, including a child visitation, police said.
