UPDATE: Steven Taubenkibel, spokesman for George Washington University Hospital, said the mother’s name is Shavonnte Taylor, 23, of D.C. Her baby’s name is Amir Mason. He weighed 8 pounds and 5 ounces. Taubenkibel said “mother and son are doing well.”
