On 17 September 2025, an unknown man was pulled from the Scheldt at the "Van het Steen" pontoon in Antwerp. To date, this person has not been identified.

The man appears to be between 35 and 45 years old. Three photographs of the man were found in his backpack.

Poor guy. I feel for his relatives out there.
I think they will eventually identify him by facial recognition or fingerprint database technology. They need to figure out which EU country has him on file. My speculation only.

His face is giving me Turkish vibes, but he could be from anywhere really.
Is the last picture a snippet of a larger one? It could be useful if they put the whole photo online too.
