An unknown man, possibly from Germany, was found dead on Sunday, 20 March 1994, in the River Meuse near the town of Bergen in Limburg. The police have released a composite sketch of what he may have looked like.
Both the man's clothing and his CMI watch are believed to be from Germany. Please contact the police if the photos below mean anything to you. The footwear worn by the victim had the inscription “Made in Italy by Penta”.
The unknown deceased was probably between 40 and 60 years old when he was found. He was about 1.75 metres tall, had dark blond hair and a ring beard and moustache.
The scar on his lower abdomen was probably the result of an appendectomy. Please get in touch if you have any idea who the man might be.
