A 9-year-old boy who was shot in the neck by a bullet ricochet while target shooting in the Arizona desert died on Thursday of his wounds, authorities said.

I expect that commercial insurance for shooting ranges will change a great deal in the next few weeks.

So two adults (no relationship noted), 9 y/o boy, & his sister were in desert at 5:00 am and had several firearms w them.
How dark or light is it at 5:00am s. of Phoenix in early July, when this happened?

W. linked articles, a few ppl ask whether there was an actual ricochet or bad judgment w guns & a desire to coverup..

I did not find any follow up articles about whether charges were brought. Anyone?
