Couldn't find a thread on this case. Very little info online; just a Doe Network page and an article from 2005. Can anyone find anything else?

Circumstances of Discovery
On November 16, 1995, in Branne, a small village 10 km from Libourne in the region of Bordeaux, France, a passer by spotted the victim's body in the Dordogne River. The man was stabbed twice among which one time in the heart. He was naked. His feet were tied with wire similar to the one used by farmers to sustain plants. Since he was found during the vintage, it led investigators to think that the man may have been a seasonal worker who came for the vintage. He was of Mediterranean origin. The man had undergone prophylaxis against malaria, meaning that he probably went to countries outside of Europe. It’s not possible to determine where the body was thrown in water because of the strong currents who could have carried him on a long distance.Investigating Agency(s)
