"He was at an auto parts store near the railroad tracks about 6 p.m. Thursday, about to get into his Ford F-150 truck, when he noticed that a man had fallen off his wheelchair very close to the tracks..."

IMO, I think this specific young man deserves a second chance at college and life. He saved a 75 year old wheelchair bound man whose wheelchair had fell over on the tracks.
