My husband works at Thermadyne sometimes fixing equipment. He was shocked that they claim they had no idea about his record. He thought they would have run a check on him before he was hired. My husband has actually seen this creep while at work.
I am from the upper valley myself and know people at Thermadyne, as well people from his previous employers. Small town! I read somewhere (not sure how true this is) that he was arrested because he did not register with the Hanover NH RSO list because he was working in Hanover at that time. I'm wondering if that is why he ended up working at Thermadyne. I worked on etna road and there was an RSO working there, everyone knew it. It's unsettling. I certainly don't feel bad for being an overly protective parent, that's for sure! The people that grow up there seem to think it's so safe because everyone knows everyone, no one is ever safe. I always say it's best to be paranoid than oblivious. All IMO.
