Home Invasion Under Investigation In Hollywood Hills

Two people told police they were tied up during a home invasion in Hollywood Hills early Monday morning.

Police say one of the victims was hit in the head, possibly with a handgun, during the robbery on Oak Glen Drive around midnight.

The men, who were all wearing dark clothing, fled in an unknown vehicle.

NBC4 reported that the break-in occurred about midnight and residents were tied up for roughly four hours before they were able to call police.

Thank goodness they are alive to tell the tale. There have been several high profile home invasions over the years that have resulted in horrible carnage. When the perps are under the influence of today’s substances, all bets are off on how they commit their crimes.

I agree Coco. These victims are truly lucky to be alive.

We have seen some the most brutal acts perpetrated on totally innocent people when a stranger or strangers invade their home.

Many were subjected to prolonged torture. Little children and adults have been raped by home invaders and entire families have been murdered in cold blood with many of them being overkilled.

That is what is so frightening about many of the home invasions in recent years. The way they torture and overkill victims they have never known or met. How could anyone who is a complete stranger to all of the victims have this diabolical demonic mindet and be capable of inflicting such horror?

I find those cases so terrifying.
