Authorities are calling on the community's help to locate a 12-year-old Coachella boy reported missing on Monday.

Aaron Garcia was last seen on the 45900 block of Meritage Lane, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.

Aaron was described as a 5-foot-tall boy weighing 90 pounds with brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue jeans, and a silver chain with a silver outlined black cross.

He is considered at-risk.

Daniela Gonzalez, the mother of Aaron Garcia a 12-year-old Coachella boy reported missing on Monday, is pleading for the public's help as the Riverside County Sheriff's Office (RSO) continues to search for him.

She said she last saw Garcia on Saturday between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

"He was walking to a friend's house in the community," Gonzalez said. "He never made it to his friends."

*****
Gonzalez said she realized something was wrong on Sunday when Garcia stopped responding. She said that is when she reported him missing.

*****
His mother describes Garcia as a loving, musical, high-achieving middle schooler who plays in his school band and earns A’s and B’s on his report card.

She said he loves his family and is the youngest out of 4.

Wondering if the police and/or parents have confirmed that Aaron was expected at his friends house or if perhaps that was a location he falsely gave his family and had another destination in mind. Also, 7-8 PM seems like an odd time to be out alone without an older person companion. Wondering why he is considered at risk? the mother described him as high achieving and socially involved. Don't have a good feeling about this. Police need to interview and re-interview anyone involved with this case, especially all the neighbors in the community for anything suspicious or unusual prior to or during the time of disappearance. All vehicles entering the neighborhood need to be traced and verified as legit. Thinking this is definitely not a run away situation. Hope I'm wrong and he shows up unharmed . . . pray for that.

A 12-year-old going missing on the way to a friend's house is horrifying to me.

I feel like something isn't being said though. Where is the urgency?

Yeah, something is wrong here. He never physically made it to his friends house Saturday evening.
His last communication was that he was going to be late.
On Sunday his family began to worry.
Was he supposedly spending the night with the friend?

Hoping for good news.
