South Lake Tahoe Police search for missing California man

Alexander Mackenzie, 35, of Salinas, California, told his parents he was going to South Lake Tahoe to study.

Mackenzie emptied his bank account and turned his rental car in in South Lake Tahoe and was believed to be living "in the woods" at an unknown locations.

Mackenzie is not wanted for any crimes and is not believed to be in any specific danger at this time.

Since it seems he was living as a homeless person and camping out in different locations, I wonder if he could have become a victim of the Nov 2018 Camp Fire? There were some unidentified male remains found: CA - CA - Butte Co, Male, Victim #53 of Camp Fire, In Burned Home on Schwyhart Ln, Concow, Nov 2018

Location is about 175 miles drive from South Lake Tahoe but if he was camping and hitchhiking he might have gone in that direction: خرائط ‪Google‬‏‏
