Los Angeles police are trying to find a 24-year-old mentally ill woman last seen Aug. 13 in Sylmar.
Alyssa Anne Lewis was last seen in the 13100 block of Hubbard Street, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Her mother Linda Lewis said on Wednesday her daughter suffered from negative symptoms of schizophrenia.

They had noticed a huge difference in her demeanor but she was still clean, Lewis said, adding she was going to school at Los Angeles Mission College.
She is described as a white woman who is 5 feet 4 inches tall and about 105 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
