Details of Disappearance​

Bass was last seen in Atwater, California on October 29, 1995. He told people he was going fishing with a neighbor, Joel Wedge, at Lake Donnel. Wedge said they never went fishing and he dropped Bass off at a baseball field in Chowchilla, California.

Bass never returned home and has never been heard from again. His family suspects foul play was involved in his disappearance.

I was reading on the web and I think his neighbor Joel Wedge killed him, but there was never an investigation because he was a poor black boy dating a white girl in a small town, so the police just ignored it...
He invited Anthony on a fishing trip and came back without him...I think Wedge was in his 30s...Anthony was 18...

The Anthony Robert Bass Jr., case is still unsolved. There is a detective who is assigned to and actively working on the case, I have recently spoken with him. If anyone has information to share about this case I highly encourage you to call the Atwater Police Department. I will share my thoughts, I do not believe that this case was not investigated properly due to race. I feel that this case is important to the department and they want to solve it. They need the publics help. In 1995 the technology we have today, did not exist. Therefore, it makes this case difficult to solve, but not impossible.
