I can't link most of what I found, though her IMB page about as safe as anything you'll find on her with a google search. Most everything on her is under the name Lonnie Legend, an "adult film" actress. I found an instragram page with that name as well, NSFW. Here's the coast guard news on the search, unfortunately I don't think this is going to end well. You don't take and leave your passport if just going for a swim. https://www.news.uscg.mil/Press-Rel...s-search-for-missing-woman-near-venice-beach/

Found a very old LinkedIN page. Looks like she went to college in LA, so that may be where she is originally from. https://www.linkedin.com/in/ashanta-cobb-mcneil-47583a85 The retail outlet she worked for is (or was) in Newport Beach.

Here's a youtube interview of her, when she was at 3 years in "the industry". Her biggest complaint, not making enough money. Interview with Loni Legend Looking at the dates, based on 3 years in in 2017 she would have started adult films in 2014. So 11 years later she's 30. She was about 19 when she started then.

UPDATE: This article has been updated to reflect that the missing woman resurfaced on social media.
(....)
On Friday at about 6 a.m., Cobb-McNeil apparently posted on social media, saying, “Thankfully I’m okay.”

“I’m glad my stuff was recovered,” the Instagram story video post said. “I’m safe home, I’m using my backup iPad for now until I can get my things back.”

Has LE seen and talked to her in person?

I hope they don't pull the missing report until they have actually spoken to her in person. One just doesn't lose (or forget) their shoes, ID, Phone AND Passport on a beach in my opinion. Who takes their passport to a beach?? Something is off about this whole event, IMO and I know a lot of people would feel better for her overall safety if she reached out to LE on the matter.

I think it's standard for them to have physical contact with a missing person to declare them found. Anyone can pretend they are her on an IPad!
