The decedent was staying at the Cecil Hotel in Los Angeles. Had checked into the hotel under the name of
" Alison Lowell". A Greyhound bus ticket purchased in Bakersfield, CA on 12/15/1975 was found on the dresser of the hotel room. No ID papers found in the room or with the decedent.

Hard to match Barbara with any UID when there is no photo of her and no details about how she went missing. Maybe we can find a yearbook photo or some old newspaper article about her disappearance?

Can anyone figure out if Tolbert is Barbara's maiden name or if she was married? I have tried to find her records on ancestry or anything about her disappearance and failed. I can't even find address records for her in Anaheim or surrounding areas. Wondering if Tolbert was not her name for very long or if she was only visiting California when she disappeared. I tried other Barbara Ann Tolberts (there are several in the US) and found every one I looked at to still be alive long after 1973 (many with obituaries and other family records making it clear they could not be the missing Barbara).
