Berte Calvin, 88, was last seen at about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday when she left Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center at 975 Sereno Drive.

Lt. Herman Robinson said Calvin was visiting a family member at the hospital and left about an hour before her son arrived.

Calvin is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and 135 pounds. She was last seen wearing an orange jacket and brown pants.

Robinson said Calvin was driving a red 2010 Chevrolet Impala with California license plate No. 6JIN714.

Calvin suffers from mild dementia, but family members told police she normally gets around well.

Missing Benicia Woman Located, Police Say

Police learned the elderly woman who suffers from mild dementia had been in a car crash elsewhere in the Bay Area.

Calvin, who suffers from mild dementia, was located the following day — Thanksgiving — in the South Bay, Vallejo police Lt. Jason Potts told Patch Sunday.

She had been in a car accident in the South Bay, Potts said, without disclosing further details.
