MISSING PERSON ALERT

Betsy Brotby left her North Stockton home on December 11, 2022, at 12 noon. She went to Kohl's and left in her vehicle but failed to return home.

Betsy stopped at a store in Altaville, CA at approximately 9 pm on December 11, 2022. She advised the clerk she was lost and the clerk gave her directions to Stockton. She has not returned home.

She was last seen wearing a blue sweater, blue jeans, white and gray tennis shoes, and a black cross-body purse.

Betsy has a condition that may cause her to become lost and confused.

Brotby only remembers bits and pieces of her journey, like meeting "nice people" and driving around snow. But, she admits she noticed becoming forgetful more often about a year ago when she was having trouble driving to her dentist. "I suppose I should say we ought to quit driving earlier, but I wasn't about to say that," said Brotby.

Snip

After her frightening ordeal, Betsy has decided to hang up her car keys for good. From now on, her daughters will take over the driving duties.
