[h=1]Fresno police search for missing woman[/h]
Investigators say Breanna Bradford did not show up for work on Friday. And there has been suspicious activity on her credit cards.

Bradford was last seen leaving her apartment at Ashlan and Marks with her boyfriend.

Bradford's car is also missing. It is a 2007 VW GTI Silver hatchback. It is lowered with tinted windows and a dent on the front driver's side fender.

Fresno Police have now found the body of a woman, who had been missing since Friday morning.

Police found the body of 22-year-old Breanna Bradford in her car Sunday morning near Ventura and Ninth Street in Southeast Fresno.

Police only said she "suffered traumatic injuries."

"It’s very sad over the outcome of this case. I believe our department did everything we could to try to locate her. Although we have not established a timeline of her death, we believe it occurred on Friday," said Dyer.

Family members reported Bradford missing, after she did not show up to her first day at work.

After checking with friends and family members, they called police Friday afternoon.

Police later learned her ex-boyfriend, Matthew James Gonzalez Gay, had been at her apartment late Thursday night, asking for a ride to Sanger.

The two got into an argument.

At one point, they told police Gay had placed guns on a table at Bradford's apartment.

"They say he pulled out two guns," Dyer said. "But he told Bradford the guns were not for her."

They argued inside one of the rooms and, at some point, she disappeared with Gay.

It's not know whether she went with him willingly.

It's not know whether she went with him willingly.

Police say she had left her cell phone behind, but there had been "suspicious activity" on her bank card at various locations.

"Based on the fact James Gay was the last person seen with her, they had a heated argument, he is the primary person of interest in this investigation," said Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer, during a news conference Sunday afternoon.

Police already had Gay in custody for an incident Friday morning, about a mile from where Bradford's body was found.

He is accused of carjacking a U.S. Postal Service truck late Friday morning.

He is accused of carjacking a U.S. Postal Service truck late Friday morning. Officers say he hid in the truck as a mailman made his deliveries in the area of Maple and Huntington.

Once the mailman spotted him, he says Gay threw him out of the truck. The mailman managed to get back in, struggled with Gay, and later parked the truck.

Gay ran away, but was spotted by a police a short time later.
Dyer says Gay has an extensive criminal history. He is a gang member, has served time for burglary, assault, robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and possesion of a firearm. He was on parole since September of 2016.

More details on the attempted carjacking of the mail carrier:

Mid-morning Friday, less than a mile away from where Bradford’s body was found Sunday, police say Gay allegedly attempted to carjack a U.S. Postal Service truck on Maple Avenue between Huntington Boulevard and Kings Canyon Road.

Gay allegedly got into the van through the driver’s side door, pulled the carrier from the driver’s seat and threw him to the ground. Fresno police Lt. Stephen Viveros said that as Gay started to drive away, the carrier caught up to the van and was able to shift the transmission into park and remove the ignition key.
Viveros said Gay got out of the van and chased the carrier to get the key back. But when nearby residents saw the chase and came to help the mailman, Gay ran off through the neighborhood as police arrived. He was nabbed by officers, and the mailman and witnesses identified him.
The carrier didn’t realize during the encounter that Gay had a gun. Officers found the gun’s magazine on the ground next to the mail van, and Gay had the other half of the gun when he was caught, police said.

He was booked into the Fresno County Jail on suspicion of felony carjacking and weapons charges, police said.
It wasn’t until hours later, when Bradford’s family reported her missing and gave Gay’s name to police, that authorities began investigating Gay’s connection to Bradford.
Dyer said officers canvassing the neighborhood over the weekend were able to obtain video that established a timeline between the time Bradford left her apartment and the time her body was found.

I had to reread, Apparently dead. Anyway, it sounds like the boyfriend is quite the loser. I don't want to blame the victim, but when a read some of these cases where the boyfriend kills his girlfriend & they know what a 🤬🤬🤬 he is, I just don't understand.

Love can be VERY blind.
