Coroner needs help ID'ing man found dead in Burney in March. What's known of him so far
The Shasta County Coroner's Office still hasn't been able to identify a man found dead in a Burney Creek last month, but officials have figured out a few things about the man that they hope a member of the public will recognize.
Lt. Gene Randall with the coroner's office said the man appears to have been 40 to 50 and about 5 feet 5 inches tall. More specifically, Randall said the man:

Lt. Gene Randall with the coroner's office said the man appears to have been 40 to 50 and about 5 feet 5 inches tall. More specifically, Randall said the man:
- Had pins surgically implanted in both hips.
- Had the word "FISHY" tattooed on his right forearm and the words "Native Pride" tattooed on his back. The man also had tattooed on his back a dreamcatcher with a figure inside it that appears to be half-female face and half-cattle skull.
- The man appears to have been Native American, but his eye and hair color aren't known.
