Easter egg hunt horror as kids stumble across possible small human skull

A small skull and other bones, possibly belonging to a child, were found by a family at a park in Long Beach, California.

Police were called to DeForest Park on the 5900 block of De Forest Avenue at approximately 5 p.m. after a family looking for eggs found what appeared to be a small skull in the ground.

Investigators have confirmed that it was an infant-sized human skull that was was found.

The human skull and mandible that were recovered were brought the to the Forensic Science Center for further examination.
