Case History: Martinez Police Department took a report of two hikers finding a human skull along a fire trail, west of Rankin Park. The skull was resting on a rock in the wooded area, above the park. It is unknown how long the skull had been at the location.

It could be an error in the record, or it might indicate there was mummified tissue or skin still remaining on the skull. Just a guess.

Age: Tommi was 21 when lka and Jane Doe 17-30
Location: Tommi missing from Rescue CA which is a few hours drive from where the remains were found, however her vehicle was found in Sacramento, just an hour or so away from Rankin Park. She also had family ties (step father) in Contra Costa. She was also possibly suspected of heading towards Oakland for a concert when she went missing so travelling from Rescue to Oakland would have taken her right past Rankin Park.
Hair: Tommi had brown hair, JD auburn
Timeframe: Tommi lka 1981, JD estimated date of death 86-89

So I know a few differences but the location alone makes her stick out for me.
