Red Bluff police seeking information about 26-year-old missing man

The Red Bluff Police Department is seeking information about David Thomas Young, 26, who went missing on January 29 and has not been heard from since.

Police say Young is described as a white man with brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a grey sweater, grey shoes, and a grey beanie.

Young was last seen in the area of the 1100 block of Orange Street and took his ID and cell phone with him.

Police say repeated attempts to contact Young on his phone have been unsuccessful and it appears at this time his phone is off.

Young sent two messages through Facebook to relatives saying "Goodbye" and gave no indications as to where he may be going or his intentions.

The original article said he sent messages to his family through facebook. I don't think it was a posting to the public but a PM.
