Help detectives find Palmdale man missing in LA since Oct. 2021 (theavtimes.com)

Deonte LaShaun Kemp, also known as “DD” and “Cowboy,” was last seen Oct. 31 at about 4 p.m., on 54th Street in South Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

• Kemp is 5'9" tall and 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
• He had a goatee and a tattoo of a lion on his chest.
• He was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information regarding Kemp’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.

if he was from AV area why was he in south LA? did he have family / friends / associatesd in the area? was he released from jail that date and never appeared back home? not much info given. why is this barely out in the news now?
