MISSING PERSON: Donald Anderson, age 55 described as a white male, 6’4”, 185 lbs, balding, unknown clothing, resident of Lytle Creek.

SUMMARY:
On May 22nd, deputies from the Fontana Sheriff's Department took a missing person report on Donald Anderson from Lytle Creek. The reporting party stated Mr. Anderson had not been seen or heard from since May 17th. Friends have tried to locate Anderson but were unsuccessful in locating him. Anderson left his dog and all his belongings behind and his whereabouts are unknown.

Deputies have searched the surrounding area and followed up on all information however, Mr. Anderson remains missing. Mr. Anderson is considered to be a voluntarily missing, there are no signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances.

The Sheriffs' Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating him. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact the Fontana Sheriff's Station (909) 356-6767.

I find it odd that they say no suspicious circumstances, when there is something posted here:

by people who reported him missing that would say otherwise, IMO. Hmmmm..

I'm glad you posted what you did. After trying to scroll through the page, I finally did a google search to find the post. Since it was a private citizen post to a MSM FB page, we probably can't post the link, but this search--"donald anderson lytle creek abc7 news facebook"--got the post as the first search result.

Thank you for finding that link, @Darling136! The admin of the "Find" page is optimistic, as the detective has been working on the case, and has come by to follow up and to question her. I hope they can find Donald. Lytle Creek is such a small community, you would think that someone knows what happened. On the other hand, there is a lot of wilderness around the community, which makes it hard to search.
