Donald J. Nader, 48, was last seen during late summer or early fall of 2016. They discovered his disappearance after serving a search warrant on his home in June, a move stemming from a narcotics complaint about his 18332 Lawrence Way house in Alta Sierra Estates. We found narcotics and guns, we believe it was his wife who was selling narcotics", police said.

Authorities in June issued an arrest warrant for a woman named Marnay Nader on two counts each of possession of a controlled substance for sale. Marnay Nader remained at-large on Tuesday.

Officers have spoken to friends, family and neighbors. No one has seen Nader since 2016.

"We have reason to believe he's still missing and a victim of foul play," police added.

Nevada County missing man case: Signs of violent struggle found

During the execution of the search warrant, investigators located signs of what may have been a violent struggle in the residence. Investigators still need statements from potential witnesses, to include statements from Mr. Nader's wife, Marnay Nader, who has been a fugitive from justice since June arrests in both California and Idaho.

Developments in this case have led investigators to believe Mr. Nader's disappearance is suspicious, and this agency will be treating this investigation as a homicide investigation pending evidence to the contrary.
