I've analyzed thousands of faces on NamUs over the years, and many of them have become very familiar to me. The very moment I saw the Brooklyn, NY Unidentified (1990), I knew (to be determined) who I was looking at—Donald Wayne Baracosa, who went missing on March 19, 1985 from Suisun, CA. While Baracosa is listed to be 3 inches taller, it is very likely an estimate with shoes on. Everything else is spot on.

On September 16, 1990, the Brooklyn, NY Unidentified was "found on the shore of the Plumb Beach Channel just south of the Gerritsen Beach Bridge and eastbound Belt Parkway. Multiple balloons were found in his digestive tract. He may have been a body packer, smuggling illicit substances into the country."

There is visual swelling in the UID's face, especially in the area of the mouth and cheeks. I suspect this may be a reaction to a balloon maybe having burst inside the man's digestive tract.
