The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community's help in finding a missing teen who is at risk due to medical conditions.

BAKERSFIELD, CALIF. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in finding a missing teen who is at risk due to medical conditions.

Elizabeth Juarez Vela was last seen in the 800 block of E. California Avenue on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at around 1:30 p.m.

Vela is described as a Hispanic girl, 5’2” tall, 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket with “Ariat” on the side, a light green t-shirt, light blue sweatpants and white shoes.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Bakersfield Police Department at (661) 327-7111.
