Man vanishes in Corralitos; motorcycle abandoned
A 30-year-old man, Evan Bonnema, vanished in Corralitos overnight and the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find him.
Bonnema was last seen going out for a ride on his Honda Grom motorcycle on Aldridge Lane in Corralitos at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
When he didn't return, his wife called the Sheriff's Office at 7:30 p.m.
On Wednesday morning, his motorcycle was found covered under a tarp in an orchard along Aldridge Lane, a friend told KSBW. It was a few hundred yards from his father's garage.
The motorcycle had not sustained any damages, so it does not appear that Bonnema crashed.
His helmet was not found, and his cellphone is dead.
Bonnema has brown hair, hazel eyes, is 5'10" tall, and weighs 170 lbs. He has a moon tattooed on his leg, and NorCal star wings tattooed on his back.
