Search resumes for missing man in San Gabriel Mountains

Frank Martinez, 51, was reported missing Thursday by relatives. U.S. Forest Service workers found his vehicle abandoned at the top of San Dimas Canyon Road, where hikers sometimes leave their cars.

SAN DIMAS, Calif. (CBS)
Frank Martinez, 52, was reported missing on Thursday.

The search for a Pomona man, who was reported missing in the San Gabriel Mountains, resumed Saturday, a sheriff's lieutenant said.

Search called off for missing Pomona man

The search in the San Gabriel Mountains for a missing Pomona man has been called off after almost two weeks.

But family and friends of Frank Martinez Jr., 51, who has been missing since April 1, said they will continue to look for him.
