Gael Guzman was last seen in the 1700 block of William F Halsey Avenue on June 1st, 2024, around 3 p.m.

Guzman is described as Hispanic, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — 13-year-old Edgar Garica Santos, 14-year-old Irene Castellanos, 15-year-old Amelia Ruth, and 15–year–old Gael Guzman were all reported missing by the Bakersfield Police Department on June 1, 2024.

On June 2, 2024, the Bakersfield Police Department reported both Santos and Ruth returned home. However, Castellanos was located and Guzman has not returned home.

As many may have noticed, the number of reported missing teens is alarming here in the county, so we took a closer look at just how alarming.

Data compiled by the California Department of Justice revealed in 2023, Kern County had the fifth-most reports of missing children in the state.
