"A 26-year-old man is being sought by police after a series of shootings early Thursday that killed three people, including the man’s father and brother, and wounded two others.
Police say Gerry Zaragoza fatally shot his 50-year-old father and 20-year-old brother and wounded his mother inside an apartment in the 21900 block of Roscoe Boulevard near Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Canoga Park shortly before 2 a.m. The two men were pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was taken to a hospital in stable condition, police said.
Police say Zaragoza fled the apartment after the shootings. About 45 minutes later, detectives were called to another shooting at a Shell gas station in the 6700 block of Vineland Avenue in North Hollywood, LAPD spokesman Josh Rubenstein said. There they found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to a hospital in critical condition. The woman later died, police said."
