GUILTY CA - 'Glee' star Mark Salling arrested for child pornography, Los Angeles, 2015

Sources tell the show that the Los Angeles Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force unit served a search warrant early this morning at an address in Sunland, California, where he resides.

In March he allegedly reached a $2.7million settlement with a woman who had sued him for sexual battery.

In 2011, Roxanne Gorzela claimed he forced her to have unprotected sex and then when she confronted him several days later, he pushed her to the ground injuring her knees.

It was reported that the case was settled midway through trial after Gorzela dropped the sexual battery claim.

11:45 AM PT -- Law enforcement sources now tell us they've already seen more than a thousand images of "child sexual exploitation" on Salling's computer. Cops also seized other electronic devices, including tablets and cellphones.

We're also told he lives alone, which will make it hard to argue someone else put the images in the computer.

Our sources say when cops arrived to search the home, Salling was "shocked."

We're also told Salling has already lawyered up.

I read somewhere that his girlfriend turned him in, but LE wanted to investigate first because they were unsure if she might be a scorned lover/vengeful person. Sounds to me like she is pretty amazing!

I doubt his "wealth" will get him out of this one. He is in serious trouble.

I bet everyone who worked with him on Glee is shocked; they'd have had no idea what secrets he was keeping or what might have been lurking on his computer hard drive. I'm actually surprised his ex-GF knew, as those who are into child porn usually hide that part of themselves away, except when in contact with other child porn collectors.

He's looking at some potentially big jail time; then again, he could get what many would think of as a slap on the wrist of a couple or so years in prison.

Authorities said they found in all more than a thousand images depicting children in sexual situations, among them kids younger than age 10.

Lt. Andrea Grossman, of the LAPD, described some of the lewd images depicting grade school-aged girls as 'disturbing,' reported the New York Daily News.
