This is my aunt, I'll send the link to my other aunt and see if they know if she wore a gold hoop, or had a blue scarf. I never got to meet her but they say she was tiny and looked a lot like pocahontas.

This is a long shot, but could she be Ventura County Jane Doe (1981)? I know it's a year different, but the DLC being estimated makes room for possibilities. I know she was more obese, but Graciela's weight is very much an estimate. What do you guys think?

This doe is either native American or Hispanic. The "pocahontas" comment from family makes me think Graciela may have been a mixture of both

Yes my grandparents were both of Native American heritage. My family called her pocahontas because she looked so much like her. If I can post a better picture I'll do that because this picture is not very helpful in identifying her at the age she was when she disappeared. She had two daughters she left behind when she disappeared that my aunt raised like her own. She had had a falling out with a couple of her sisters at the time and some legal trouble due to her free spirited nature. But we all believe she would never have willingly stayed away this long.
