JOHN DOE #3-51-1
On March 5, 1951, a decomposed Caucasian male was found on the beach near Nerli’s Restaurant in Princeton by the Sea. The decedent was badly decomposed and had been dead for approximately 3-4 weeks. Flesh on the back appeared to have deep gashed, possibly from a propeller blade on a boat. Sheriff’s reports note that it could be one of six men lost from a tug boat in the Golden Gate on February 3, 1951. Dental records were taken by “Hamilton Field” – none in the case file. No photographs present.
