Santa Barbara police looking for at-risk missing woman

Police say Hillary Litberg, 22, was last seen at around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17 in the area of the 700 block of Chapala St.

She was wearing denim shorts, a black belt, a white short-sleeved shirt with some kind of picture on the front, and green Nike high tops.

Litberg is described as 5’10” tall and 150 pounds with blue/green eyes and red hair.

unless she lost considerable weight, she doesn't weigh 150. at 5"10 that is very thin. i am 5"8 and ima sack of bones myself at 150.

why is she at risk? i hope she is ok.

She posted an Instagram story 11 hours ago and last posted on July 28. She is also prolific on Twitter - last tweet is from 4 hours ago.

It appears that she was only absent from Twitter for a short time. She made one tweet on July 17 (the day she went missing) and resumed tweeting on July 22. All missing persons posts featuring her (including from Santa Barbara PD) are from July 18 and 19.

I didn't see anything too alarming in her tweets prior to her disappearance. Judging from her social media posts, she didn't (and doesn't) seem to be in danger. Of course we don't know what she communicated privately.

We don't know who reported her missing. Did she live at home and left? Has she returned? Is she in touch with her family?
