Since they've uploaded a higher quality photo, I decided to try my hand at a reconstruction.
(Artistic liberties were taken with her hair)

KCSR is often the Kansas City Southern Railroad, but that seems unlikely for a personal tattoo.

It's also the call letters for a Seattle-area radio station.

Probably other meanings also but those are the two I remember off the top of my head.

Could she be a hillside strangler victim I wonder? I cleaned her up and did her hair a bit as well.

I wonder if the KCSR+M could be:
A guy she dated/married was the KCSR:
K-first initial, C-last initial, SR- Senior and the M is her first name initial?
My ex and his son used to use SR and JR in their initials, for example,
Taylor James, Senior: TJSR
And his son wrote his initials as TJJR (Taylor James, Junior)
Another thought is maybe first initial, 2 middle initials, last initial.
If these are initials, I find it interesting that the 2nd is just 1 initial.

Would love to see this one getting researched too. The case is quite recently added on namus and there is very little info about it even if there is a pm on her.

I noticed that the Inglewood High School is just down the road. Would the students recognize her?

I tried to look up the yearbooks - 1976 but there are too many pictures to look at and they are too small for me to check out.

Frustrating that LE doesn’t say anything that might explain the obvious abrasions(?) on the left side of her face, or apparent bruising around her mouth. Hit and run? DV?

It's right by Morningside High School in Inglewood, so I'd look in those yearbooks instead. Inglewood High School is farther away.
